This collection reflects a journey of my personal and professional evolution — a shift in focus prompted by the war of 2022.

Previously, my writing centered on Learning & Development, and coaching — areas in which I’ve built deep expertise.

But when war forced me to leave my home and everything I had built, my writing began to change.

Now, I explore themes of forced migration, resilience, and the lived experience of refugees.

These insights draw from both my professional knowledge and my personal transformation — with the hope of offering perspective, connection, and practical value.

And that’s when the magic started. For an entire month, I received 2–5 messages a day from Canadians, Americans, Poles, French, Germans, and others offering networking opportunities, help, and even job referrals.

If you’re invited to a phone interview, get the best headphones you can and close your eyes while speaking. It’s the only way I managed to fully focus on the English without seeing the person I was speaking to.

I’ll never forget that day — on the eve of my birthday, I cried tears of joy for the first time. Then I sat on the porch of our host family’s house, sipping a bottle of wine under the starry Canadian sky.
